How We Can Support You
There are a few different ways we can support your child and your family depending on what feels most helpful right now.
Coaching for Your Child
Executive function coaching provides direct, individualized support for students to build skills like planning, organization, time management, task initiation, and follow through.
Students learn how to:
Break down assignments and manage deadlines
Build systems for organization and time management
Get started and sustain effort on tasks
Reflect on what is working and adjust strategies
Develop greater independence and confidence
Coaching is available for:
Middle school students typically beginning in 8th grade
High school students
College students
Two pathways are available depending on the level of support needed:
Independent Coaching
Best for high school and college students, as well as mature middle school students who are ready to take increasing ownership of their growth and strategy use.
Family Supported Coaching
Best for middle school and high school students who benefit from added structure and collaboration. This includes parent meetings at key points to support consistency and follow through at home.
Parent Coaching
Parent coaching provides structured, practical support so you can better understand your child’s executive function profile and create systems at home that actually work, including for younger students who are not yet ready for direct coaching.
This is especially helpful if:
You feel stuck in patterns that are not working
There is tension around schoolwork or responsibilities
You want to step back without things falling apart
Your child is not yet ready for direct coaching
Parent coaching focuses on:
Clarifying executive function strengths and challenges
Building realistic routines and systems at home
Supporting organization, planning, and follow through
Increasing independence without over functioning
Available as a standalone service or alongside student coaching.
Who This Support Is For
Executive function support is designed for:
Students who are capable but struggling with organization, time management, or follow through
Students who understand what needs to be done but have difficulty getting started or staying on track
Students navigating increasing academic demands and independence
Families who feel stuck in patterns that are not working at home
Students with ADHD or executive function challenges who benefit from structure, strategy, and accountability
Why Primed Potential
Primed Potential offers executive function support grounded in evidence based training and extensive experience in assessment and intervention.
Led by Licensed Educational Psychologist Suzanne Pickell, services go beyond general tutoring or coaching by integrating a deeper understanding of how learning, behavior, and executive function develop.
Support is highly individualized and designed around each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals so that strategies are practical, sustainable, and applicable beyond sessions.
The focus is not just on getting through current demands, but on building the skills, systems, and self awareness that support long term independence.
